Christmas Memories Christ-mas mem-or-ies of years gone by, Bring back mem-or-ies that make me cry. Flash-ing lights on a Christ-mas tree, Takes me back to how it use to be. Mem-or-ies come a-live in things I see, When I look at the Christ-mas trees. The rea-son I cry is I miss my dad, But his mem-or-ies don't make me sad. I re-member dad work-ing day and night, And he got us by when mon-ey was tight. Dad-dy did with-out to buy us kids things, That's mem-or-ies that Christ-mas brings. Fa-ther did what it took to make us smile, And he said we made his life worth-while. Ev-ery Christ-mas-es since he's been gone, In all of my mem-ories my dad-dy lives on.
