No Heroes Today

I used to watch my he- roes 
As they rode a-cross the screen.

ful-filled my child-hood dreams.

 Gene and Roy and Hoppy

He-roes back then were bigger than life, 
Gave us good guides to live by, 
Thought they'd live forever 
And I cried when they died.
