If Your Heart Won't Listen

You bought me a big home,
And gave me diamond rings.
But I can't feel no love,
From non-feelin' things.

When you are workin' late,
I'd wonder if I am missed.
You always come in tired.
I'm never held and kissed.

You know I always loved you,
But words can't get through.
If your heart won't listen,
There's nothing left to do.

I didn't love you for money,
Or the things that it buys.

That I can see with my eyes.

We had love at the start,
But now that's not enough.
