Daddy's Not Alone His life touched so many, With a love they could see. When daddy passed away, He left us all memories. In my heart he resides, With love he didn't hide. I see him in my mind, When his memories arrive. His health was always poor, But he would open any door. Dad had been the man, That always said, " I can." His love and compassion, Was never out of fashion. I know God took him home, Daddy's not alone. Dad was only five foot tall, But his shadow wasn't small. He lived and paid his dues. No one can fill his shoes. All the years he had was hard, But he played his dealt cards. His love and compassion, Was never out of fashion. I know God took him home, Daddy's not alone.
