Paying it forward I done some good deeds, I made some good friends, I like the places, I like the places where I have been. I helped an old man to cut his grass, Being I was younger I did it fast. I helped an old lady across the street, Who was sweating in the heat. I pushed a grocery cart home, for a woman who couldn't push it alone. Paying it forward only cost you a little time, But it will give you, give you peace of mind. It will make you some memories, That are yours to see. Memories you will make you can see. On my way home I saw two drunks on the street, They looked hungry, I got them burgers to eat. They looked at me with tears in their eyes, Before I left both had started to cry. Got up this morning feeling like a new man, Because I had given a few folks a helping hand. It didn't hurt me at all, it did not cost me too much, It feels good to do what I can. Paying it forward only cost you a little bit of time, But it will give, will give you peace of mind. It will make you some memories, That are yours and yours alone to see.
