Roses 

It was a good year for the Roses, 
For every Rose song they sung. 
And later on, when it was Christmas, 
Willie’s Silver bells would be rung.

Charlie Pride looked for his bed of roses,

It was a song that we all sang, 
And it's one we haven't forgot.
